Our group will be welcomed by our hosts, the owners and residents of La Mazure, who are themselves promoters of France, the French language, culture and history. Located near Laval in the Mayenne, La Mazure is nestled in a forest just outside a quaint village in the northern part of the Pays de la Loire, a region famous for its food and drink and of course its castles!
The Mayenne is a beautiful and relatively untouched region of France and is only a couple of hours from the English Channel!
Participants will learn French and stay in The Château de la Mazure, to learn about local traditions and gastronomy, while visiting local curiosities. Rarely do visitors have an opportunity to get insights into daily castle life. We really are grateful to the le Marié family for helping us to make this such a personal and hospitable weekend.
Treat yourself to a wonderful weekend in a château where you will be able to immerse yourself in language & culture and of course we will make sure you taste as many of the local delicacies as is physically possible in 3 days!
